Moving my children to Joanne O’Kelly School of Dance in 2016 was the best decision our family has made in our children’s dancing careers. Having moved from interstate, we struggled to find our new dance family in VIC - until we met Miss Jo. Our whole world has changed! My children have rediscovered their passion and love for dance under the incredibly talented and nurturing hand of Jo and her wonderful faculty. Having a son that dances, finding the right school that caters equally to both boys and girls can be challenging, but Miss Jo has demonstrated that this is not the case at JOKSOD. He is nurtured, is achieving incredible results and is working towards his dream as a professional ballet dancer - one I am confident under the guidance of Miss Jo he will reach. Both of my children love dancing here and spend as much time watching the older students, listening and taking in the wonderful atmosphere as they do learning and perfecting their own technique. All of the beautiful students at Joanne O’Kelly School of Dance embody the vision Jo has - and are living testimony to her methods, kindness and inclusiveness. The quality of teaching, facilities, support, friendships and genuine love that encapsulates this wonderful dance school is second to none and I look forward to seeing my children shine on stage with many, many more years to come as a very proud JOKSOD Dance Mum!

My daughter has attended JOKSOD for the last 3 years and in that time I have seen her grow into a beautiful and talented little dancer. The minute you walk through the studio door you are greeted with smiles and a special kind of ambiance unique to this ballet school.
