The JOKSOD Extension Program (JEP) Classical is an audition only program for students that want to take the next step in their dance training.
JEP Classical has been established for a number of years and we are so proud of its success. Many of our students have the opportunity to audition to full time dance training and this is the ideal program to prepare them for these experiences.
To qualify for JEP, dancers need to be already attending at least 3 Classical ballet classes a week.
The program aims to extend and enhance a students current dance training and we offer this internally to JOKSOD students as well as locally to outside students from other dance schools.
The classes are taught by a number of expert guest teachers, including Adam Thurlow, Emma Koppelman, Lisa Craig, Anne Marie Ludwig-Cox, Laura Kinross, Hannah Bertram and Phillipa Crawley who work with students to refine their technique and enhance artistry. We are looking for enthusiastic and committed students to attend this special class.
Many of our students have gained entry into their chosen full time course and training courses including the Australian Ballet School, Queensland Ballet Academy, Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, New Zealand School of Dance, VCASS to name a few.
