Lachlan Hall, born in Sydney, Australia has had years of training and experience in Contemporary Dance. Lachlan was accepted into the New Zealand School of Dance as a contemporary dance major in 2012, where he then worked with many choreographers from around the world and obtained a Diploma in dance performance. In 2015 Lachlan was accepted into Transit Dance’s inaugural Professional Pathway course where he was quickly chosen as a founding member of Transit Dance Company under the direction of Paul Malek. Since then Lachlan has been a full-time employee of Transit Dance as a core contemporary tutor/mentor and is the director and co-ordinator of the Origins Youth Programs.
As a choreographer, Lachlan has created a myriad of works whilst also being utilised as a Rehearsal Director, and production assistant. Lachlan also partakes in project based works with Transit Dance Company and has performed all around Australia and in dance on film projects.
Lachlan has also studied abroad in Israel with the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company, auditioned and workshopped around Europe and thrives in cultivating an abundance of knowledge to utilise in enriching his students' lives and helping make their dreams come true. Lachlan is a choreographer, educator, assistant, rehearsal director and dance artist.
