JOKSOD students in The Australian Ballet ITP 2024

At JOKSOD we are so fortunate to have had numerous students through the years that have successfully auditioned to be part of the prestigious Australian Ballet School Intra/Interstate & International Training Program (ITP). All of these students have successfully auditioned to be part of the program alongside dancers across the whole country in the school's National Audition Tour. 

ITP, as explained by The Australian Ballet School, is a great benefit to enhance a student's dance training as they participate in Classical Ballet classes amongst other high calibre dancers provided by world-class teachers.  It is an incredible opportunity that introduces students to the school’s culture and potential preparation for possible study in the full-time program.

Students can join the program from age 9 to 13 years old progressing through Levels 1 to 3. Following this, a select few students can also be asked to return as an 'invitee' to Level 4 when they are aged 14/15 prior to thinking about full-time study - this is an extremely special opportunity afforded to only a few ITP participants. 

The program has been running since 2000 and there have been a number of students who have joined the full-time program and gone on to gain contracts with The Australian Ballet and other ballet companies in Australia and around the world!
