JOKSOD Cecchetti Scholars 2025

Each year Cecchetti Ballet Victoria offers an exclusive Scholars program designed to support and nurture exceptional ballet students who demonstrate excellence in their craft. This prestigious program provides a monthly, subsidised extension class held at the Cecchetti headquarters, where participants have the unique opportunity to learn from world-renowned teachers and industry professionals.

Dancers from across the state audition for the program, and only 14 students from each age group—Junior and Senior—are chosen. Being selected as a Cecchetti Scholar is a rare and highly coveted honour, representing a significant achievement in a dancer's development. Over the years, many talented students have had the privilege of attending and benefiting from this esteemed program, gaining invaluable experience and training that contributes to their growth as dancers and artists.

The Cecchetti Scholars program is not only a testament to a student's skill, but also to their dedication and passion for ballet. Those who are chosen join an elite group of dancers who are given the tools and guidance to refine their technique, push their boundaries, and take their artistry to the next level under the tutelage of some of the most respected figures in the ballet world.
